Il Podere was a working farm up until quite recently. Now it has been completely rebuilt in order to provide an oasis of tranquillity and freedom for our international guests. It stands in a splendid hill setting just outside the picturesque little thirteenth century town of Collevecchio, on the border between Lazio and Umbria, about 50 kilometres (30 miles) north of Rome. In the summer, Collevecchio comes to life with all kinds of traditional festivals being held in the main piazza.

Il Podere is a stone's throw from all the wonderful artistic centres and the most interesting towns of Umbria, while at the same time being only 45 minutes from Rome by road or rail.

Here guests are surrounded by nature, in 10 hectares of unspoilt countryside, but within walking distance to the village with all kinds of shops, a supermarket, a chemist, a bank, a post office, a beauty parlour and several restaurants.
